Art Deco scarf in pure silk
Tennis scarf in pure silk crepe de chine, which drapes beautifully and is light to wear.
In six vibrant colours, contrasting with striking black and white, the scarf measures 33" square.
The image is by René Vincent, a famous graphic designer and featured on the cover of the French magazine cover La Vie Parisienne in 1921. A true Deco image, the tennis player is modelled on Suzanne Lenglen, a celebrated icon of the era and known both for her tennis success and balletic style of play.
This scarf is made in Holland by a leading company specialising in printing art on silk.
